Automated Industrial Robotics Inc. (AIR), a PE-backed industrial automation platform, has acquired Ireland-based Robotics & Drives (RDS). The acquisition, funded primarily by an additional Ares Management private equity fund investment, expands AIR's robotics software and systems design capabilities and strengthens its presence in Europe; terms were not disclosed.

LRS Acquires Michiana Recycling & Disposal and Modern Waste Systems

LRS Acquires Orion Waste Solutions Territories and WRS RAMCO-AWM Business

LRS announced the acquisition of Orion Waste Solutions territories across Arkansas, Kansas and Wisconsin and the RAMCO-Alternative Waste Management (AWM) waste and recycling business from Waste Recycling Solutions in the Little Rock, Arkansas MSA. The transactions add 19 municipal contracts, 140 employees, 115 trucks, one C&D landfill and nine facilities, expanding LRS’s geographic footprint and service capabilities in the Midwest and Arkansas.

(a Hidden Harbor Capital Partners portfolio company) acquired Delta-Electro Power, Inc., a Cranston, Rhode Island-based provider of motor, pump, controls and electrical contracting services. The transaction is an add-on for Rapid Pump that expands its geographic footprint into Rhode Island and Massachusetts and broadens its service capabilities; Delta's management will remain involved and LBC Credit Partners provided financing.

Compass Precision Acquires R&D Machine and Engineering, Inc.

The acquisition is Compass Precision's sixth operating company and expands its decentralized platform of precision machine shops serving aerospace, defense and space end markets.

AMPORTS Acquires Red Hook ConRo Terminal at Port Freeport

AMPORTS, a North American port operator and automotive services provider, acquired the operations of the Red Hook ConRo Terminal at Port Freeport, expanding its stevedoring and terminal services to the Gulf Coast. The purchase completes AMPORTS' coast-to-coast stevedoring footprint and transfers the existing Port Freeport operations and staff to AMPORTS.
