Snow Peak Capital Acquires TurbineAero

Snow Peak Capital, a Broomfield, Colorado-based private equity firm, has acquired TurbineAero, the world's largest independent APU MRO provider, from The Gores Group. Financial terms were not disclosed; Snow Peak said it will partner with TurbineAero's management to invest in growth and expand the company's global MRO capabilities.

McNally Capital Acquires Airforce Turbine Service (ATS)

McNally Capital has acquired Airforce Turbine Service, Ltd. (ATS), a Texas-headquartered provider of PT6A turboprop engine MRO and aftermarket services, marking the first investment from McNally Capital Fund III. As part of the transaction, Johannesburg-based TEMRO will join ATS as a wholly owned operating subsidiary and industry executive Rob Wilson will serve as Executive Chairman to support scaling and capability expansion.

The Blackhawk Group Acquires Glendale Aero Services' MRO Business

The Blackhawk Group, a portfolio company of New State Capital Partners, has acquired the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) business of Glendale Aero Services and will rebrand the operation as a Blackhawk Performance Center (BPC-Glendale). The acquisition expands The Blackhawk Group’s Performance Center network and adds specialized Cirrus SR/Vision Jet and Cessna MRO, CAPS and avionics capabilities; Glendale’s Director of Maintenance, John Fisher, will remain in place. Terms were not disclosed.

Atlantic Jet Partners, a Pompano Beach-based business jet supplier, has acquired Great Lakes Turbines Inc., a turbine parts manufacturer and FAA-approved MRO based in the greater Toledo, Ohio area. The deal expands Atlantic Jet Partners’ manufacturing, repair and testing capabilities and follows the company’s announcement of FAA STC ST04742NY for the Skyview 1000 cockpit upgrade.
