Accrual to Acquire Puzzle to Expand AI Platform into Client Accounting Services

Accrual has agreed to acquire Puzzle’s accounting-firm technology and business, including its AI-native ledger and month-end close products. The deal will expand Accrual beyond tax preparation into client accounting services and advisory workflows, with Puzzle’s founder and team joining Accrual while Puzzle continues operating independently for direct startup and small-business customers.
