AEA SBPE Acquires Chemtron RiverBend

AEA Investors’ Small Business Private Equity (AEA SBPE) has closed the acquisition of Chemtron RiverBend (CRB), a St. Charles, Missouri–based full-service provider of industrial water and wastewater treatment products and laboratory services. The deal includes significant rollover by management and employees; AEA cited CRB’s differentiated position in a large, fragmented market and substantial organic and M&A growth potential as drivers for the investment.
