Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, has acquired Group W, a Vienna, Virginia–based data science and defense analytics firm focused on modeling, simulation, and wargaming for the Department of Defense. The deal expands SPA's mission-critical modeling and simulation capabilities across system, mission, and campaign levels and integrates Group W's advanced analytical and wargaming expertise into SPA's national security offerings.

Siemens Industry Software Acquires Altair Engineering

Siemens has signed an agreement to acquire Altair Engineering Inc. for $113 per share in cash, valuing the deal at about USD 10 billion.
