Pax is a California-based environmental consulting firm with nearly 75 staff specializing in permitting and regulatory compliance, ecological restoration, and cultural and natural resource services. The acquisition expands Verdantas’ footprint in California and strengthens its integrated environmental and regulatory expertise for complex infrastructure and power utility projects.

Bessemer Investors Acquires Xanitos from Angeles Equity Partners

Stellus Capital Management provided unitranche senior debt financing and an equity co-investment to support the transaction; management, led by co-founder and CEO Michael Crippen, will remain in place to help scale the business across its national self-performing platform.
