A fund managed by Ares Management's Private Equity Group has made a strategic investment in Extreme Reach alongside the company's management team and existing majority owner Gamut Capital Management. The capital will support Extreme Reach's growth and transformation, accelerating product innovation and expansion across creative asset management, end-to-end SaaS workflows, digital video, and entertainment payroll solutions.

Alpine Software Group (ASG) Acquires ThinkLP

Alpine Software Group (ASG), a portfolio company of Alpine Investors, has acquired ThinkLP, a Waterloo, Ontario–headquartered provider of retail loss prevention and safety case management SaaS. The deal brings ThinkLP into ASG's vertical SaaS platform (ASG's 50th software acquisition); founder Doug Treleaven will transition out of day-to-day operations and Spencer Marzouk will become CEO.

ASG (Alpine Investors) Acquires MediMatrix (formerly WebInterstate)

ASG, a portfolio company of Alpine Investors that builds vertical SaaS businesses, has acquired MediMatrix (formerly WebInterstate), a Minneapolis-based mobile healthcare software provider that streamlines order management, image sharing and billing for mobile radiology services. The deal (closed June 9, 2021) will keep founder Ken Kern active as CTO and install Marvel Myrtile as CEO; Generational Equity advised the seller. ASG said the acquisition expands its mission-critical healthcare software capabilities and supports continued organic growth and further acquisitions.
