A group of investors led by professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau has acquired Sportsbox AI, which provides kinematic AI and 3D motion capture technology for sports training. Following the acquisition, Sportsbox AI plans to launch Sportsbox AI Motion Intelligence (SAMI), an agentic AI coaching assistant integrated into the Sportsbox 3DGolf app using Google Cloud’s Gemini models.
