Munich-based CERTANIA, a Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) group, has acquired RAS-SCI, a Bromley-headquartered provider of supply chain assurance and compliance solutions. The deal brings RAS-SCI's proprietary technology and 450+ auditor network into the CERTANIA platform to expand capabilities in retail and grocery supply-chain assurance and to accelerate growth into mainland Europe; RAS-SCI's founders and directors will remain involved in the business.

CERTANIA Acquires Alphalytik Pharmaservice GmbH

CERTANIA, a Munich-based testing, inspection and certification group, has acquired Alphalytik Pharmaservice GmbH, a Berlin-headquartered specialist in pharmaceutical analytical testing. The acquisition brings Alphalytik's GMP/FDA-approved stability testing, method development and release testing capabilities into the CERTANIA platform to expand the group's pharma testing services and support growth.

French private equity firm Abenex has acquired Cisbio Bioassays from seller Argos Soditic. Abenex will partner with the biotech to support its organic and external growth strategy across pharmaceutical research and in vitro diagnostics; Cisbio has ~210 employees and generates over 85% of revenue outside France.
