Chimera Investment Corporation Completes Acquisition of Palisades Group

Chimera Investment Corporation has completed its previously announced acquisition of Palisades Group, a U.S. residential real estate credit alternative asset manager. Chimera paid $30 million in cash at closing, with an additional potential earnout of up to $20 million over five years, and Palisades co-founder and CIO Jack Macdowell, Jr. joined Chimera as Chief Investment Officer.
