Cisco to Acquire WideField Security to Boost Splunk’s Agentic SOC

Cisco announced its intent to acquire WideField Security, a security technology company focused on protecting identities in the agentic AI era. WideField’s technology is expected to be integrated into Splunk to enhance Agentic SOC capabilities by normalizing and correlating identity, session, and activity telemetry from multiple sources.
