Cover Genius Acquires Friendsurance to Scale Embedded Protection in Europe

Cover Genius, the embedded protection infrastructure provider, announced its acquisition of Friendsurance, a Berlin-based insurtech and digital bancassurance platform for banks and insurers. The deal combines Cover Genius’s global embedded protection infrastructure with Friendsurance’s local regulatory expertise and bank-grade technology to accelerate “Bancassurance 2.0” across the DACH region. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the acquisition is effective immediately.

NMS Capital Group Acquires Get Cover Technologies

NMS Capital Group, the Saliba family office-backed private equity firm, has acquired Get Cover Technologies, the parent company of Get Cover, a Los Angeles-based insurtech that provides cloud-based warranty and service contract solutions. The deal positions NMS to expand its presence in technology-enabled insurance while enabling Get Cover to scale its platform across B2B, B2C and education channels and accelerate product rollout and customer growth.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Acquires Coverys Insurance Services (retail agency assets)

Gallagher & Co. acquired certain assets of the retail agency business of Coverys Insurance Services, an East Lansing, Michigan-based insurance broker specializing in medical malpractice and professional liability. Terms were not disclosed and the Coverys Insurance Services team will remain in East Lansing under the direction of Ryan Isaacs as part of Gallagher's Midwest retail P/C brokerage operations.

Zinnia Acquires Policygenius
