Integrity Marketing Group acquired Unified Health, a Fort Lauderdale-based, data-driven, tech-enabled call center and Medicare telesales brokerage. As part of the deal, Unified Health CEO Bryan Hunsaker becomes a Managing Partner at Integrity; the acquisition strengthens Integrity's Medicare capabilities and distribution, and financial terms were not disclosed.

Rains Insurance (SmartBank) Acquires Sunbelt Group, LLC

Rains Insurance, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SmartFinancial/SmartBank, acquired the operating assets of Chattanooga-based Sunbelt Group, LLC (Sunbelt Insurance), effective September 1, 2022. The acquisition expands Rains' footprint in Tennessee and adds Sunbelt’s personal, commercial, life/health and transportation insurance capabilities to Rains' platform.

MSouth Equity Partners Acquires Sunbelt Modular, Inc.

MSouth Equity Partners, an Atlanta-based private equity firm, has acquired Sunbelt Modular, a Phoenix-based manufacturer of commercial modular buildings, as its new controlling equity investor. Sunbelt will continue to be led by CEO Ron Procunier and will operate its seven regional brands while MSouth supports the company's growth and potential platform expansion.

Southeastern Printing, a Florida-based provider of integrated print, fulfillment, and promotional solutions, has acquired Sunbelt (including Sunbelt Graphics and Sunbelt Dimensional) to add dimensional print, structural design, and specialty packaging capabilities. The move expands Southeastern's end-to-end offering for brand campaigns, kitting, fulfillment and digital storefront services across retail, healthcare and other enterprise customers.

UMB Financial Corporation Acquires Heartland Financial USA, Inc.

UMB Financial Corporation completed its previously announced all-stock acquisition of Heartland Financial USA, Inc., creating a larger regional bank with approximately $68 billion in assets and expanded operations across 13 states. The deal (announced at an implied value of about $2.0 billion and using a 0.55 share exchange ratio) increases UMB's private wealth AUM by roughly 31–32%, adds more than 100 branches and ATMs, and brings HTLF operations onto UMB platforms before full brand conversion.

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Acquires University of Maryland Health Partners and University of Maryland Health Advantage

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield has agreed to acquire University of Maryland Health Partners (UMHP) and University of Maryland Health Advantage (UMHA) from the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS). The transaction brings UMMS’s Medicaid and Medicare Advantage plans into CareFirst’s not-for-profit structure to expand its presence in government-sponsored programs and ensure continued coverage for enrollees across Maryland.
