Toronto-based private equity firm Argyle Capital Partners, in partnership with Celina Capital Corporation, acquired TRS Components Ltd., a manufacturer and installer of roof trusses, wall panels and floor joists. The transaction closed in July 2022; TRS operates manufacturing facilities in Thorndale, Ontario and Romeo, Michigan and has over 130 employees.

TRS Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Alta Electronics

TRS Capital, an early-stage investment firm, has acquired a majority stake in Alta Electronics, a Canadian supplier of wiring harnesses, cable assemblies and electrical components. Management will remain in place while TRS plans to support growth by investing in inventory and equipment and expanding Alta's presence in the U.S. and other international markets.

Huron Capital Acquires TriStruX

Huron Capital completed the acquisition of TriStruX, a national provider of telecom infrastructure services formed from the 2020 merger of Telcom Engineering Group, Leone Electric Corporation and High Point Utilities. The deal creates a telecom infrastructure services platform to support 5G and fiber deployment nationwide, with TriStruX founders remaining in management and holding minority stakes.

Trinity Industries Acquires Quasar Platform from Cando Rail

Trinity Industries, Inc. has acquired Quasar Platform Inc., an end-to-end rail logistics software platform, from Cando Rail & Terminals Ltd. The purchase, which closed on May 26, enhances Trinity’s Trinsight digital product suite by adding yard management, activity-based costing and new data visualization capabilities; Trinity will retain Quasar’s employees.

Parsons Corporation Acquires TRS Group, Inc.

Parsons Corporation acquired environmental remediation technology provider TRS Group, Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $36 million. The deal strengthens Parsons' environmental remediation and PFAS-treatment capabilities, integrating TRS's thermal remediation technologies and PerfluorAd licensing into Parsons' Federal Solutions and Critical Infrastructure segments.
