LDC-backed The Pace Group has acquired Gateshead-based Exel Elevator and Kent-based The Lift Company (DJ Lifts) as add-on acquisitions to accelerate its UK expansion. The deals expand The Pace Group's geographic footprint and service capability, bringing the Group's maintained units to around 13,000 and ~5,000 customers nationwide.

Total Access Elevator Acquires LA Elevator

Total Access Elevator, a Century Park Capital Partners–backed platform, has acquired LA Elevator to expand its elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization footprint across Los Angeles. The deal strengthens Total Access's local presence, brings LA Elevator's technicians and maintenance portfolio into the platform, and includes a conversion of LA Elevator's non-union workforce to the International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 18.

LDC Takes Minority Stake in Deltron Group

Deltron Group, backed by private equity firm LDC, has acquired Metro Lifts (London), Elevate UK Lifts (Stourport-on-Severn), Elevator Group (London), A1 Lifts (Liverpool) and Lift Control (Livingston) to accelerate its acquisitive growth across the UK. The deals increase Deltron's geographic reach and unit density as the West Midlands-based lift maintenance and repair specialist — which employs c.160 people and maintains around 12,000 units — pursues further consolidation of the market.

LDC Makes Minority Investment in Deltron Group

LDC, the private equity investor part of Lloyds Banking Group, has made a minority growth investment in Dudley-based Deltron Group to support its UK expansion and acquisition-led growth strategy. Deltron, which maintains and repairs elevators, service lifts and stairlifts and employs around 94 people, will use the capital to scale operations, invest in its services and pursue complementary acquisitions.
