MasTec Acquires INTREN from One Equity Partners for $420M

MasTec, Inc. has acquired INTREN, LLC from One Equity Partners for $420 million, including a contingent earnout through year-end 2021. Headquartered in Union, Illinois, INTREN operates as a specialty utilities contractor with approximately 2,000 employees across 14 states and trailing twelve months revenue of about $550 million; MasTec will retain INTREN's brand and integrate its utility distribution capabilities into its infrastructure services.

TreeServe (Soundcore) Acquires Schneider Tree Care

TreeServe, a platform backed by Soundcore Capital Partners, has acquired Schneider Tree Care, a Greenville, South Carolina-based provider of residential and commercial tree care, plant healthcare, and mulch services. The deal is an add-on to the TreeServe platform and will keep Schneider's leadership in place while expanding TreeServe's service footprint and plant-health capabilities in the Greenville/Charlotte region.

Fecon LLC Acquires TREEfrogg LLC

Fecon LLC has acquired TREEfrogg LLC, a Lebanon, Ohio-based manufacturer of tree-trimming saw attachments for skid steers and compact track loaders. The acquisition expands Fecon's right-of-way clearing and vegetation-management product offerings — Fecon will rebrand TREEfrogg saw attachments as Trim Ex and integrate the product line into its dealer/distributor network.
