Chongqing Boao Industrial Acquires Federal‑Mogul Interior Lighting Business

Chongqing Boao Industrial Co., Ltd acquired the interior lighting business of Federal‑Mogul Corporation in a divestiture announced January 2018. The business — based in Sparta, Tennessee with a technical center in Ann Arbor, Michigan — manufactures interior lighting assemblies and components (overhead lamps, door/floor lamps, LED ambient lighting, trunk/under‑hood lamps) sold to light‑vehicle OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers.

Truck-Lite Acquires Lumitec

Truck-Lite, Co., LLC has acquired Lumitec LLC, a designer and manufacturer of extreme-environment LED lighting and lighting control systems for marine, off-highway and specialty vehicle OEM and aftermarket customers. Brown Gibbons Lang & Company served as exclusive financial advisor to Lumitec; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands Truck-Lite’s product and OEM capabilities in marine and specialty vehicle lighting.

AVS Verkehrssicherung Acquires Majority Stake in Fero Group

AVS Verkehrssicherung, a Triton Fund IV company, has agreed to acquire a majority share in Belgium-based Fero Group from the founding Haerens family. Fero is a leading provider of temporary traffic management, road marking and traffic signage with more than 300 employees across multiple locations in Flanders and Wallonia; the transaction strengthens AVS's European footprint in work-zone safety and is subject to regulatory approval.

Fero International Inc. Acquires AVL Manufacturing Inc.

Fero International Inc. signed a letter of intent to acquire AVL Manufacturing Inc., a Hamilton, Ontario–based turnkey manufacturer of modular enclosures with a 30-year track record. The acquisition will secure AVL's manufacturing facilities and over 70 employees (including ~15 engineers) to help Fero scale production of its modular solutions; closing was anticipated in Q4 2021 subject to due diligence, financing and a definitive agreement.
