ClearSale Acquires Beta Learning

ClearSale has acquired Brazilian software consultancy Beta Learning Consultoria e Desenvolvimento de Software LTDA for an initial R$40.1 million (approx. USD $7M) plus up to two contingent installments, in the company's first M&A since its 2021 IPO. The deal is an 'acquihire' that brings more than 100 software developers into ClearSale to expand its R&D and accelerate product development for ecommerce fraud protection.

Toronto-based Carbon6 has acquired chargeguard, a Rogers, Arkansas–based SaaS solution that automates recovery of Amazon Vendor Central fees. The deal expands Carbon6's profit-recovery offering into 1P vendor workflows and integrates chargeguard's algorithmic chargeback-recovery platform into Carbon6's marketplace ecommerce ecosystem.

Optiv Acquires ClearShark to Expand Federal Cybersecurity Presence

Optiv acquired Maryland-based ClearShark LLC and ClearShark Services Inc., a federal-focused cybersecurity advisor and value-added reseller. The acquisition more than doubles Optiv's federal presence, broadens its federal capabilities and expertise, and brings ClearShark's government-cleared engineering team into Optiv's platform. Terms were not disclosed.
