Sudarshan Chemical Industries to Acquire Heubach Group

Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited (SCIL) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Germany-based Heubach Group in a combination of an asset and share purchase. The deal will create a global pigments company combining SCIL’s operating knowledge with Heubach’s technological capabilities, with the combined company expected to operate across 19 sites worldwide and maintain Frankfurt as a strategic location.

Stahl Acquires WEILBURGER Graphics

Stahl has acquired Germany-based WEILBURGER Graphics, a manufacturer of water-based and energy-cured coatings, inks and adhesives for the graphic arts and packaging markets. The deal strengthens Stahl's newly formed packaging coatings division and expands its product portfolio and European presence in growth end-markets such as food & beverage, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals; financial terms were not disclosed.

Henkel Acquires Seal for Life Industries from Arsenal Capital Partners

Henkel has signed an agreement to acquire US-based Seal for Life Industries LLC from private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners. Seal for Life is a global supplier of protective coating and sealing solutions with ~€250m of sales in 2023 and more than 650 employees; the acquisition strengthens Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business and expands its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions and protective-coatings capabilities.

Sherwin-Williams Acquires German Wood Coatings Business (Oskar Nolte & Klumpp Coatings)

The Sherwin-Williams Company has agreed to acquire Specialized Industrial Coatings Holding (SIC Holding), a venture comprising German wood-coatings makers Oskar Nolte GmbH and Klumpp Coatings GmbH. The combined business (approximately 220 employees; >€91.5 million sales) will join Sherwin-Williams' Performance Coatings Group, with the transaction expected to close by early 2023 pending regulatory approvals.

Sherwin‑Williams Acquires Sika's European Industrial Coatings Business

The Sherwin‑Williams Company completed its acquisition of the European industrial coatings business of Sika AG, which will join Sherwin‑Williams' Performance Coatings Group. The business is based in Germany (with sales/technical support in Poland, Austria and Switzerland), contributes approximately CHF 75 million in 2020 sales, and about 115 Sika employees will join Sherwin‑Williams.

Raak Metals Group Acquires Stolwerk Metaal
