Hexagon AB Acquires Itus Digital to Expand Asset Performance Management

Hexagon AB acquired Itus Digital, a Roanoke, Virginia-based provider of SaaS asset performance management (APM) software, and will consolidate it into Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division. The acquisition enhances Hexagon’s HxGN EAM and APM capabilities by integrating Itus’s digital twin and predictive-maintenance platform into its product suite.

Galanthus Partners Acquires InterPro Solutions

Hexagon to Acquire Aero Photo Europe Investigation (APEI)

Hexagon Acquires CAD Service

Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division has acquired Parma-based CAD Service to fully integrate its OpenCAD visualisation tools into HxGN EAM. CAD Service, which has a nine-person team and a longstanding partnership with Hexagon, will be consolidated into Hexagon to accelerate development of enhanced 3D visualisation capabilities for customers in manufacturing, energy, and transportation.

Hexagon AB to Acquire Inertial Sense

Hexagon AB has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Inertial Sense, a Utah-based developer of compact tactical-grade inertial navigation systems and GNSS+INS solutions. The acquisition is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals, and will expand Hexagon’s assured positioning, navigation, and timing capabilities for aerospace, defense, robotics, and unmanned systems.

Siemens Digital Industries Software Acquires Canopus AI

Siemens Digital Industries Software has acquired Canopus AI, a Grenoble-based developer of AI-driven metrology and inspection software for semiconductor wafer and mask inspection. The acquisition integrates Canopus AI’s AI-enabled metrology capabilities into Siemens’ Calibre/EDA portfolio to improve inspection fidelity, accelerate yield ramp and expand Siemens’ semiconductor manufacturing digital thread.
