ASL Enterprises Inc. (ASL) announced the acquisition of SimpleHR, an HR software provider serving small and mid-sized businesses since 2005. The deal expands ASL’s HR technology portfolio and supports growth in the SMB human capital management (HCM) market, with ASL planning to invest in upgrading and expanding SimpleHR’s platform while maintaining the SimpleHR brand.

HRLocker Acquires Cork-based WorkCompass

HRLocker has acquired Cork-based performance management software provider WorkCompass in a multimillion-euro deal that embeds WorkCompass directly into HRLocker’s platform. The acquisition, supported by parent Invincible Software Holdings (ISH), expands HRLocker’s HRIS capabilities to offer a single workflow for SMEs covering goals, feedback, performance reviews and core HR functions.
