Vector Capital Leads Buyout of SingleStore

SingleStore, a real-time database platform powering AI applications, has agreed to be acquired in a growth buyout led by Vector Capital with participation from institutional investors including J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Goldman Sachs Asset Management (External Investing Group), and Lexington Partners. SingleStore's management and several existing investors (including GV, Dell Technologies Capital, IBM and REV Venture Partners) will remain invested as the company looks to accelerate product innovation, global expansion, and growth in AI-ready data infrastructure.

Bigtincan — a Waltham, Massachusetts–headquartered provider of AI-driven sales and revenue enablement software — will operate as a private company with management, including CEO David Keane, expected to remain in place while Vector supports product innovation and revenue growth.

SoftBank Group Corp. agreed to acquire a 40% stake in AutoStore from funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners and EQT, among other shareholders, in a transaction announced April 2021.
