San Diego-based communications firm Southwest Strategies Group has acquired Kiterocket, a Phoenix- and Seattle-based public relations agency focused on emerging technologies, semiconductors and sustainability. The deal expands Southwest Strategies Group's Western U.S. footprint and adds two new lines of business—technology (led by Kiterocket founder Martijn Pierik) and sustainable living (led by co-founder Amanda Foley)—to its service offering.
