Branford Castle Partners Acquires Fibrix Filtration

Branford Castle Partners has acquired Fibrix Filtration, a Charlotte-based manufacturer of high-loft and pleat media air filtration products, in a majority-control buyout that closed on August 13. Financing included senior debt from Byline Sponsor Finance and subordinated debt and an equity co-investment from Brookside Mezzanine Partners; Fibrix CEO Keith White remains in leadership and participated in the transaction.

Royal Biologics Acquires FIBRINET from Vertical Spine LLC

Royal Biologics, an ortho-biologics company based in Hackensack, New Jersey, completed the acquisition of the FIBRINET system from Vertical Spine LLC. The FIBRINET system uses a patient’s autologous blood to create a platelet-rich fibrin matrix (PRFM) for use in spinal fusion and expands Royal Biologics’ portfolio of autologous and live cellular therapies to support orthopedic and spinal fusion procedures.

Apax-backed Fibonacci Group Acquires Quid Group and Cabel from Equinox

Funds advised by Apax Partners have backed the Fibonacci Group in the acquisition of Quid Group and its subsidiary Cabel from Equinox. The deal strengthens Fibonacci's position as a pan‑European financial software platform—combining Quid's cloud‑native credit lifecycle software and Cabel's core banking / BaaS capabilities—and expands the group's scale to over 1,500 employees and approximately €210m in revenues.
