PayIt Acquires Sovereign Sportsman Solutions (S3)

PayIt, a GovTech provider of digital customer experience and payments for state and local governments, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Sovereign Sportsman Solutions (S3), a conservation and outdoor-recreation licensing and permitting technology provider. The acquisition expands PayIt's product set to include outdoor recreation licensing, permitting, and volunteer/event management solutions and is expected to close by the end of May.

Paystand Acquires Teampay

Paystand has acquired Teampay to combine blockchain-enabled B2B payments with Teampay's spend and expense management platform, creating a no-fee, end-to-end payments and spend management suite for CFOs. The combined network will serve more than 1 million businesses and expand Paystand's AR capabilities into AP and corporate expense controls; financial terms were not disclosed.

TransPerfect Acquires Paybooks Technologies

TransPerfect has acquired India-based Paybooks Technologies, a cloud-based HR, payroll, and compliance platform, in a deal announced Sept. 30, 2024; financial terms were not disclosed. Paybooks will continue to be led by CEO Samira Rao, COO Gururaja Upendra, and CPO Prakash Kumar (who will join TransPerfect's senior management), and all employees are being retained as the business gains access to TransPerfect’s global footprint and R&D resources.

PureCars Acquires truPayments

PureCars, a martech and advertising intelligence provider backed by Diversis Capital Partners and Stage 1 Ventures, acquired automotive fintech SaaS provider truPayments on July 12, 2021. The deal integrates truPayments' shopping personalization and payment-shopping capabilities into PureCars' martech stack to give dealerships expanded payment data, improved digital retailing and earlier shopper conversion.

Payment Alliance International (PAI) Acquires TouchPoint 21

Payment Alliance International (PAI), a Brink's company, has acquired Texas-based TouchPoint 21, a provider of ATM and cash-management outsourcing and ITM deployments. The deal brings TouchPoint 21's ATM-as-a-Service managed-service capabilities, in-house servicing and armored teams together with PAI's portfolio management tools to expand PAI's service offering and support financial-institution branch transformation.
