Specialty Drilling Holding Company LLC (a portfolio company of Kalbot Holding Company LLC) acquired Authentic Drilling, Inc., a Colorado-based provider of geotechnical, environmental, exploration and water well drilling services. The transaction (closed August 31, 2023) expands the SDHC platform’s service capabilities and geographic reach across the Western U.S. as the platform’s second add-on acquisition.

ConeTec Group Acquires Geotech Drilling Services

Ltd. and Nevada-based Harris Exploration to expand coast-to-coast geothermal drilling capacity across Canada and the U.S. The deals add experienced drilling teams and rigs, support the launch of a Calgary office led by Matthew Tokarik, and strengthen Subterra's vertically integrated geothermal services and utility offerings.

Dandelion Energy Acquires Glacier Drilling

Dandelion Energy has acquired Glacier Drilling, a Connecticut-based drilling team led by Mark Schock, to support expanded geothermal installation capacity across the Northeastern United States. The deal brings 26 years of drilling and geotechnical experience into Dandelion’s operations to help mobilize more crews and accelerate homeowner geothermal installations across New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont.

GEOLOG Acquires Quad Ltd and QO Inc.

GEOLOG International B.V. acquired Quad Ltd and QO Inc., integrating Quad’s wellsite geology, pore pressure and fracture gradient analysis capabilities into GEOLOG’s global wellsite geosciences and drilling support services. The bolt-on deal strengthens GEOLOG’s technical capabilities and global service delivery across complex drilling environments; terms were not disclosed.

TruHorizon Environmental Solutions Acquires Phase Engineering

Phase, founded in 1993 and co-owned by James Dismukes and Melanie Edmundson, has completed tens of thousands of environmental and property condition assessments for lenders, developers and property owners across the U.S.
