L Catterton Acquires Majority Stake in Beauty Industry Group

L Catterton has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Beauty Industry Group (BIG), a Salt Lake City–based platform of hair extension brands. Existing shareholders — including HGGC, CEO Derrick Porter, and the management team — will reinvest and retain a meaningful minority stake as L Catterton partners with BIG to accelerate brand building, DTC expansion and international growth.
