CeriFi Acquires MarkMeldrum.com

CeriFi, a Leeds Equity Partners portfolio company, has acquired MarkMeldrum.com, a provider of CFA exam preparation materials including lecture videos, question banks and mock exams. The acquisition expands CeriFi's portfolio of financial education and certification solutions and represents an add-on to its existing offerings; terms were not disclosed.

PIB Group Acquires Lloyd's Broker Guest Krieger Limited

PIB Group Ltd is acquiring Guest Krieger Limited, a specialist independent Lloyd's wholesale broker known for placing Israeli financial lines and specialty liability business into the London Market, pending customary regulatory approval. Guest Krieger will continue to trade independently from its City of London office with its management team (including CEO Alon Miller) remaining invested; the acquisition enhances PIB's London Market capability and international specialty broking reach.

Markerstudy Group Acquires BGL Insurance from BGL Group

Markerstudy Group has agreed to acquire BGL Insurance (BGLi) from BGL Group, subject to regulatory approval, in a deal announced by investor Pollen Street. The acquisition brings together BGLi's digital insurance distribution and data capabilities with Markerstudy's underwriting capabilities to create a combined business serving close to six million customers and accelerate Markerstudy's digital growth.

Markerstudy Group Acquires Brightside Group from AnaCap Financial Partners

Cinven and GIC to Acquire Miller

Cinven and GIC have agreed to acquire Miller, a London-headquartered specialist insurance and (re)insurance broker, from Miller’s partners and corporate member Willis Towers Watson. Miller employs more than 640 people across major insurance hubs, places about £2 billion of premiums annually, and the buyers plan to accelerate growth through independent ownership, organic expansion and selective bolt-on M&A.
