Maven’s MBO Fund II, together with other Maven client funds, has committed up to £15 million to back Covestus, a Cheltenham-based consumer healthcare platform, to accelerate its buy-and-build strategy. The initial investment will support Covestus’s acquisition of two oral-care brands, UltraDEX and Dentyl, from Venture Life Group plc to strengthen its UK and international oral-care footprint.

Pac‑Dent Acquires Ackuretta Technologies

Pac‑Dent, a U.S.-based dental supply manufacturer, has acquired Taiwan-based 3D printing supplier Ackuretta Technologies to integrate Ackuretta's printer hardware and ALPHA AI CAM software with Pac‑Dent's Rodin resin materials. The acquisition is intended to expand Pac‑Dent's digital dentistry platform, enhance global support and workflows for dental clinicians and laboratories, and accelerate capability development across hardware, materials and software.

United Dental Corporation (UDC), a Miami‑based dental service organization, acquired Georgia prosthodontics practice Hal N. Arnold, DMD, MS (Esthetic & Implant Dentistry). The acquisition expands UDC’s presence in Georgia to three practices and is the thirteenth practice acquisition since UDC began its acquisition strategy in October 2022; terms were not disclosed.

Henry Schein Acquires Midway Dental Supply

Midway reported approximately $110 million in 2021 sales and about 200 employees; the acquisition strengthens Henry Schein's presence in the Midwestern U.S. and brings new customers, executive talent, and sales and service personnel into its U.S. Dental business.
