AVEVA Acquires FabTrol Systems

AVEVA Group plc acquired FabTrol Systems, a fabrication-management software provider headquartered in Eugene, Oregon, from the Dowco Group for approximately $6.5 million. The acquisition expands AVEVA's fabrication portfolio by integrating FabTrol's estimating, material management and production control capabilities with AVEVA's design and detailing solutions to offer an end-to-end steel fabrication solution.
