TransDigm Acquires DART Aerospace for Approximately $360M

TransDigm Group Incorporated agreed to acquire DART Aerospace, a Montreal-based manufacturer of helicopter mission equipment, from Greenbriar Equity Group and First Aviation Services for approximately $360 million in cash. DART, which generates roughly $100 million in pro forma 2022 revenue and employs about 400 people across facilities in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, was acquired to expand TransDigm's proprietary product and aftermarket capabilities; the deal is expected to close in Q2 2022 subject to customary approvals.

Phoenix Equity Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Ava Global

UTAC, LLC Acquires USA Truck from DSV

DSV has sold 100% of USA Truck to UTAC, LLC, a private Arkansas-based entity formed by current and former USA Truck leaders including CEO George Henry, former CFO Zachary King and former CEO James Reed. The deal returns the 42-year-old carrier to U.S.-based ownership; financial terms were not disclosed and DSV said the sale positions USA Truck for future growth under local management.

(Nasdaq: CTNT) signed a definitive agreement to acquire Edward Transit Express Group Inc., a California-based non-vessel operating common carrier specializing in ocean and air consolidation and warehousing. The deal includes $300,000 in cash plus share consideration valued at approximately $1.2 million, will give Cheetah 100% ownership, and is expected to close within 20 calendar days; Cheetah said the acquisition will reduce operating overhead and enable it to offer logistics and warehousing services to third-party parallel-import dealers.
