Saur Group Acquires Natural Systems Utilities from XPV Water Partners

Saur Group, through its industrial water platform Nijhuis Saur Industries, has acquired Natural Systems Utilities (NSU) from XPV Water Partners. The deal adds NSU's distributed water reclamation and onsite reuse capabilities to Saur/NSI, supporting accelerated technology deployment across commercial and residential building markets in the Americas and Europe.

Integrated Water Services and Sciens Water Acquire Hyperion International Technologies

Integrated Water Services, in partnership with Sciens Water Opportunities Management (an affiliate of Sciens Capital), acquired 100% of Hyperion International Technologies, a control-systems and engineering services provider for water and wastewater markets. The deal expands IWS’s product and digital services capabilities in modular MBR and wastewater reuse technologies; Hyperion’s General Manager Scott Johnson will lead the business as Al Ouchie transitions to retirement.

Veolia Environnement Merges Vigie (Formerly Suez) Into Veolia

Veolia announced that it has signed a merger agreement to merge Vigie SA (formerly Suez SA) into Veolia as part of a legal-structure simplification. Following Veolia’s successful cash tender offer and mandatory squeeze-out, Veolia holds (and will hold until completion) all shares of Vigie, with final merger completion scheduled for October 31, 2022.

Saur Group Acquires Aqua-Chem

France-based Saur Group, an EQT‑backed environmental services company, has acquired Knoxville, Tennessee‑headquartered Aqua‑Chem. Aqua‑Chem will become the North American platform and the water purification global center of excellence for Nijhuis Saur Industries (NSI), expanding Saur's process water and purification capabilities across pharmaceuticals, beverage, energy and military end markets.

Séché Environnement Acquires Eight Wastewater Maintenance Centres from Veolia's SARP OSIS-IDF

The assets — based in the Greater Paris region and including 233 employees and a fleet of 130+ service vehicles — expand Séché's wastewater maintenance capabilities and strengthen its footprint in Île-de-France.

Jernbro Acquires Veolia's Swedish Industrial Maintenance Business

Jernbro Industrial Services AB has agreed to acquire Veolia Environnement S.A.'s industrial maintenance business in Sweden, taking over operations in Kiruna, Avesta, Sandviken, Norrköping and Gothenburg effective 1 October 2019. The acquired business has over 300 employees and annual sales of about SEK 400 million; the deal increases Jernbro's turnover to SEK 1.4 billion and its headcount to roughly 950.
