VLS Environmental Solutions Acquires SRE Environmental

Houston-based VLS Environmental Solutions, a portfolio company of I Squared Capital, has acquired Phoenix-based SRE Environmental, a provider of commercial and industrial wastewater and solid waste management services. The add-on expands VLS's footprint and capabilities in the western United States, adding evaporation-pond wastewater disposal, tanker transport assets and new customer relationships; financial terms were not disclosed.

Nijhuis Saur Industries Acquires Veolia's European Mobile Water Services Division

Nijhuis Saur Industries (part of Saur Group) has completed the acquisition of Veolia's European Mobile Water Services division, which will be rebranded as NSI Mobile Water Solutions. The deal adds around 500 mobile units, seven depots and more than 80 staff across Europe, expanding NSI's mobile water and wastewater treatment capabilities and geographic footprint.

Veolia Environnement Merges Vigie (Formerly Suez) Into Veolia

Veolia announced that it has signed a merger agreement to merge Vigie SA (formerly Suez SA) into Veolia as part of a legal-structure simplification. Following Veolia’s successful cash tender offer and mandatory squeeze-out, Veolia holds (and will hold until completion) all shares of Vigie, with final merger completion scheduled for October 31, 2022.

Eric Vallée and Management, Backed by Sofival, Acquire SET Environnement Group from Abenex and Galiéna Capital

Eric Vallée and his management team, supported by family investment group Sofival, have acquired SET Environnement Group in a secondary leveraged buyout from private equity investors Abenex and Galiéna Capital. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in the Lyon region, SET Environnement specialises in asbestos removal and remediation services for tertiary and industrial sites, with ~€24M revenue and about 160 employees.
