City of Los Angeles Acquires Angel City Press

The City of Los Angeles, working with law firm Raines Feldman Littrell LLP, accepted a donation of the archives and operations of Santa Monica–based independent publisher Angel City Press. The acquisition enables the Los Angeles Public Library to enter book publishing to support local authors, expand access to literary works, and further the library's literacy and community engagement mission.
