NVIDIA Acquires SchedMD (developer of Slurm)

NVIDIA has acquired SchedMD, the developer and maintainer of the open-source Slurm workload manager used widely in high-performance computing (HPC) and AI. NVIDIA says Slurm will remain open-source and that the acquisition will accelerate Slurm development, expand integration with NVIDIA accelerated hardware, and broaden support for HPC and AI customers.

Storj has acquired Valdi, an on-demand high-performance GPU compute provider, to integrate large-scale GPU capacity with Storj's distributed S3-compatible object storage. Nvidia Reportedly Acquires Shoreline for ~$100M

Nvidia has reportedly agreed to acquire incident-automation startup Shoreline Inc. in a deal valued at around $100 million, according to Bloomberg. Shoreline, founded in 2019, provides cloud observability and runbook-driven remediation software for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud and had raised roughly $57 million from investors including Insight Venture Partners, NTT Venture Capital and Dawn Capital.
