Aero Accessories & Repair, LLC, a portfolio company of ATL Partners, has acquired Buffalo, New York-based Aero Instruments & Avionics. The add-on strengthens Aero Accessories' MRO capabilities across avionics, electro-mechanical and other complex aircraft components and expands its presence in the commercial, cargo and defense aftermarket; terms were not disclosed.

Aero 3, Inc., the parent of AeroRepair and a portfolio company of GenNx360 Capital Partners, has acquired Aircrafters, Inc., a New Castle, Delaware–based distributor of aircraft wheel and brake parts and provider of exchange asset pools. The acquisition expands Aero 3's parts distribution capabilities and North American logistics footprint while keeping Aircrafters' management in place.

Aero 3, Inc., a GenNx360 Capital Partners portfolio company and parent of AeroRepair, Aircrafters and Hemico, has acquired Skywheels Ltd., a Cheshire, England-based wheel and brake repair and overhaul provider for the aviation industry. The acquisition adds a U.K./EMEA footprint to Aero 3's existing North American network and is intended to expand Aero 3's product, parts exchange and MRO capabilities across Europe.

Sumitomo Corporation Acquires Saconix LLC

Sumitomo Corporation, through Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, has completed the acquisition of Saconix LLC from Copperbeck Energy Partners, making Saconix a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sumitomo Corporation Group. The deal adds sulfuric acid storage tanks and transloading facilities in the U.S. West and Gulf Coast, expanding Sumitomo's North American logistics capacity and boosting its global sulfuric acid trading and storage footprint.

ATL Partners Makes Majority Investment in Aero Accessories

American AllWaste Acquires Walker Aero Enterprises

American AllWaste LLC, a NewHold Enterprises platform, acquired Austin-based Walker Aero Enterprises LLC and its affiliated companies (JV Dirt & Loam, Daisy Works and Sheridan Environmental). The deal adds composting and brown-grease-recovery capabilities and strengthens AllWaste's position in the Texas municipal and non-hazardous liquid waste markets; Walker Aero's co-founder Phillip S. McCammon will continue with the combined company.
