Mercer Advisors, a Denver-based national RIA, has acquired Glass Jacobson Wealth Advisors, a Baltimore-based wealth management firm overseeing approximately $1 billion in assets under management. The deal expands Mercer's Mid-Atlantic footprint and brings Glass Jacobson's tax-integrated wealth management capabilities onto Mercer's national platform.

Authentic Brands Group and ALDO Group Acquire Sperry from Wolverine World Wide

Authentic Brands Group has acquired the Sperry footwear brand in a transaction that closed January 10, 2024, with the ALDO Group joining as Sperry's North American operating partner. Wolverine World Wide sold the brand for proceeds of about $130 million to strengthen its balance sheet; Authentic will convert Sperry to a licensed model while ALDO will operate Sperry's wholesale, e-commerce and store operations in North America.

Sun European Partners Affiliate Acquires Allied Glass

An affiliate of Sun European Partners, LLP has completed the acquisition of Allied Glass, a Leeds-headquartered manufacturer of premium glass packaging for the spirits and food & drinks markets. Allied operates two manufacturing facilities and a dedicated decoration centre in Yorkshire; Sun European Partners said it will work with management and invest to support the company's continued development (financial terms were not disclosed).

Specialty Program Group Acquires Global Marine Insurance Agency

Specialty Program Group (SPG), a holding company for specialty insurance brokers and underwriting facilities, has acquired the assets of Traverse City-based Global Marine Insurance Agency. Global Marine, a national brokerage focused on boats, yachts, marinas and commercial marine vessels, will join SPG’s specialty insurance platform; terms were not disclosed.
