Shopify Acquires Checkout Blocks

Shopify has acquired Checkout Blocks, a no-code checkout customization app used by over 850 merchants, to bring its customization capabilities in-house and make certain features free for Shopify Plus merchants. Financial terms were not disclosed; Checkout Blocks’ founder Gil Greenberg and team will join Shopify to continue developing checkout extensibility for merchants.
