Snowflake to Acquire Crunchy Data

Snowflake announced its intention to acquire Crunchy Data, a provider of trusted, open-source PostgreSQL technology and products. The deal will bring “Snowflake Postgres” into Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud, combining full Postgres compatibility with governance, security, and compliance capabilities for mission-critical AI applications.
