Level, a digital marketing agency backed by private equity firm Dubin Clark, has acquired BAM Strategy to form a unified growth platform combining performance marketing, analytics, creative, CRM, and loyalty capabilities. The combined organization creates a roughly 250-person full-service offering to deliver end-to-end marketing solutions across acquisition, retention, and loyalty for clients in CPG, education, financial services and other sectors.

BBB Industries (Clearlake-backed) Acquires All Star Auto Parts from Atlantic Street Capital

BBB Industries, a Clearlake-backed sustainable manufacturer, has acquired All Star Auto Parts, a remanufacturer and distributor of automotive lights and wheels headquartered in Orlando, Florida. The deal, completed in August 2024, was an add-on acquisition to strengthen BBB's electronics and aftermarket product offering; terms were not disclosed. Atlantic Street Capital sold All Star after partnering with the company since 2019.

Baaj Capital Acquires UK Trade and Assets of Amscan International (including Christy's by Design and Ginger Ray)

Baaj Capital has acquired the UK trade and assets of Amscan International and its associated brands Christy's by Design and Ginger Ray from the Wonder Group following administration. AURELIUS Finance Company provided a bespoke, fully revolving senior debt facility to support the acquisition and ongoing working capital, with the deal preserving more than 100 jobs in the process.

LLYC Acquires 80% Stake in BAM to Double U.S. Presence

LLYC (Llorente & Cuenca) has acquired an initial 80% stake in BAM, a San Diego–based public relations and marketing agency focused on venture-backed and technology companies, in a deal valuing BAM at $13.2 million. The acquisition (cash consideration, with potential adjustment based on 2022–2025 performance) doubles LLYC’s U.S. operation, creates a team of more than 65 professionals, and leaves BAM CEO Rebecca Bamberger with a continuing ownership stake while she remains in charge of operations.

Fanatics Acquires Topps Trading Cards and Collectibles Business

Fanatics Inc. has acquired The Topps Company's sports & entertainment trading cards and collectibles business from Tornante Co. for approximately $500 million. The deal brings Topps' iconic brand, global manufacturing and digital capabilities and roughly 350 employees into Fanatics Trading Cards, accelerating Fanatics' trading-card rights and production capabilities worldwide.

The Walt Disney Company Acquires Majority Ownership of BAMTech

The Walt Disney Company agreed to acquire an additional 42% stake in BAMTech, LLC from MLB Advanced Media (MLBAM) for $1.58 billion, giving Disney majority ownership of the streaming-technology business. Disney said it will use BAMTech's direct-to-consumer streaming technology to launch an ESPN-branded multi-sport streaming service in early 2018 and a Disney-branded subscription-video-on-demand service in 2019.
