Trane Technologies Acquires LiquidStack

Trane Technologies signed a definitive agreement to acquire LiquidStack, a Carrollton, Texas-based liquid cooling technology provider for data centers, to strengthen Trane’s end-to-end thermal management offerings for AI and hyperscale workloads. The deal includes LiquidStack’s team and manufacturing, engineering, and R&D operations in Texas and Hong Kong, with LiquidStack expected to integrate into Trane’s Commercial HVAC Americas business unit and co-founder/CEO Joe Capes to continue leading the business after closing.

GroupeSTAHL Acquires TKO Sales

Klinge, a York, Pennsylvania–based maker of specialized ISO refrigerated transport containers and related power-generation equipment, will complement Thermo King's transport temperature-control portfolio and expand its capability to serve highly specialized cold‑chain and government/military markets.

Watsco, Inc., together with Carrier Global Corporation, signed an agreement to acquire Temperature Equipment Corporation (TEC) for Watsco to own 80% and Carrier 20%. TEC is a Chicago/Lansing, Illinois–based HVAC distributor with $291 million in 2020 sales, ~10,000 customers and 32 Midwest locations; the deal expands Watsco's footprint into the U.S. Midwest.
