Vanguard to Acquire Altruist

Vanguard has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Altruist, an AI-forward wealth technology and custody platform serving independent financial advisors. The deal will position Altruist to operate as a standalone business under Vanguard ownership while retaining its leadership, brand, and advisor-focused operating model. Terms were not disclosed, and closing is expected later in 2026 subject to regulatory approvals.
