Via Varejo Acquires Airfox

Brazilian retailer Via Varejo has acquired Boston-based fintech startup Airfox, the developer of the banQi neobank, for an undisclosed amount. Airfox will continue to operate its Boston tech hub while leveraging Via Varejo's retail footprint to scale digital financial services to millions of underbanked customers across Brazil and Latin America.
