Nordstjernan has committed approximately SEK 350 million to acquire a 5% stake in engcon in connection with engcon's listing on Nasdaq Stockholm. engcon is the world's leading manufacturer of tiltrotators, reporting revenues of SEK 1,571 million and an adjusted operating margin of 22.3% for the 12 months ended March 31, 2022; the investment is a long-term, strategic minority participation to support the company's listing and growth.

Syspro Acquires Evocon

SMS Equipment Acquires Suomen Rakennuskone Oy

Canadian heavy equipment dealer SMS Equipment has acquired Suomen Rakennuskone Oy, a Finland-based exclusive Komatsu dealer, marking SMS Equipment's first entry into the European market. Suomen Rakennuskone, headquartered in Pirkkala, provides sales, maintenance, parts, training and technical support to Finland's construction and mining sectors; financial terms were not disclosed.

Telko Oy Acquires Swed Handling Group

Finnish distributor Telko Oy has agreed to acquire the entire share capital of Sweden-based Swed Handling AB, including subsidiaries Kebelco AB, Kemiverken AB, Swed Handling Transport AB and associated CrossChem Sweden AB. The acquisition (subject to competition authority approval) will significantly strengthen Telko's chemicals business and make Sweden its largest market; Swed Handling Group employs about 95 people and has annual turnover of roughly EUR 60 million.

Triton Combines Assemblin and Caverion to Form Assemblin Caverion Group

Triton is combining its portfolio companies Assemblin and Caverion into the newly formed Assemblin Caverion Group, creating a leading Northern European technical service and installation business. The combined group will be incorporated in Sweden, operate across around ten countries, generate roughly EUR 3.8 billion (SEK 43.5 billion) in annual turnover and employ about 21,900 people; leadership will be drawn from both businesses with Assemblin CEO Mats Johansson as Group CEO.

H&MV Engineering Acquires Skanstec
