Colliers Acquires Englobe Corporation

Colliers has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a significant controlling interest in Englobe Corporation for approximately US$475 million, marking Colliers' entry into the Canadian engineering services market. Englobe — headquartered in Laval, Quebec with about 2,800 employees and roughly US$340 million of 2023 revenue — will be integrated into Colliers while Englobe's material management and beneficial reuse (MMBR) operations in Canada, the UK and France are excluded and are being sold separately; ONCAP (Onex) is the selling shareholder.

Englobe (Colliers) Acquires BESTECH Canada Limited

Englobe Corporation, Colliers' Canadian engineering platform, has acquired BESTECH Canada Limited, a Sudbury-based multidisciplinary engineering firm with over 100 professionals. The acquisition expands Englobe's mining and high-voltage power engineering capabilities and strengthens its presence in Ontario; BESTECH's senior team will take leadership roles and become shareholders under Colliers' partnership model. Terms were not disclosed.

Tetra Tech Acquires Convergence Controls & Engineering

Tetra Tech, Inc. has acquired Convergence Controls & Engineering, a Littleton, Colorado-based systems integration and controls engineering firm, to advance its digital water and energy practices. The deal adds Convergence’s expertise in process automation, data analytics, cloud integration, and cybersecurity to Tetra Tech’s engineering and digital solutions capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

TruHorizon Environmental Solutions Acquires Phase Engineering

Phase, founded in 1993 and co-owned by James Dismukes and Melanie Edmundson, has completed tens of thousands of environmental and property condition assessments for lenders, developers and property owners across the U.S.

Amphenol Corporation Acquires Trexon from Audax Private Equity

Amphenol Corporation has completed its acquisition of Trexon from Audax Private Equity for approximately $1 billion in cash. Trexon, a Boston-headquartered maker of high-reliability cable and interconnect assemblies for defense and harsh environments, will be included in Amphenol's Harsh Environment Solutions segment and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

TXE Capital Acquires Envirodyne Laboratories

TXE Capital, a Houston-based investor focused on testing, inspection and calibration (TIC) businesses, acquired Envirodyne Laboratories, a NELAP-accredited environmental testing laboratory in Houston. The transaction closed on December 31, 2021 and was advised by Generational Equity; owners Tanny Busby and Laura Bonjonia sold the business to TXE.
