Tilray Brands, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire eight beer and beverage brands (including associated employees, breweries and brewpubs) from Anheuser‑Busch. The deal covers Shock Top, Breckenridge Brewery, Blue Point, 10 Barrel, Redhook, Widmer Brothers, Square Mile Cider Company and HiBall Energy and is expected to close in 2023, significantly expanding Tilray’s U.S. beverage footprint and production capacity.

Monster Beverage Corporation Acquires CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective

Monster Beverage Corporation agreed to acquire CANarchy Craft Brewery Collective LLC for $330 million in cash. CANarchy — a collective of craft beer and hard seltzer brands including Cigar City, Oskar Blues, Deep Ellum and others — will operate independently under its existing management and the deal excludes CANarchy's stand-alone restaurants; the transaction was expected to close in Q1 2022 subject to customary approvals.

Incline Equity Partners Acquires Starwest Botanicals

Gryphon Investors Acquires Majority Stake in Spindrift Beverage Co.

The investment coincides with the appointment of Dave Burwick as CEO and is intended to provide financial and operational resources to accelerate the brand's growth; the deal is expected to close in Q1 2025 (terms not disclosed).

Seattle Hospitality Group Acquires Controlling Stake in Fremont Brewing
