Beamer Laser Marking Systems, an ARCH Cutting Tools Corp. company, has acquired DPSS Lasers Inc., a Santa Clara, California-based manufacturer of high‑powered 355 nm UV solid‑state lasers and UV integrated systems. The acquisition broadens Beamer's laser marking portfolio by adding lower‑powered UV technology and expands its geographic and product footprint to better serve medical, aerospace, semiconductor and industrial customers.

Marco Technologies Acquires Laser Tone Business Systems and Hunter Business Systems

Bergman & Beving Acquires 90% Stake in DataLase

Tescan Group Acquires FemtoInnovations

Tescan Group has acquired FemtoInnovations, a UConn startup specializing in ultrafast laser systems, and will create a Laser Technology Business Unit (LT BU) headquartered at the University of Connecticut Tech Park. The deal adds laser micromachining and imaging/analysis capabilities to Tescan's correlative and multimodal portfolio to serve semiconductor, biomedical device manufacturing, and advanced research markets.

AMETEK Acquires FARO Technologies

AMETEK, Inc. has completed its acquisition of FARO Technologies, Inc. for $44.00 per share in cash (approximately $920 million, net of cash acquired). FARO will join AMETEK's Ultra Precision Technologies Division within the Electronic Instruments Group, adding 3D metrology, imaging, software and service capabilities to AMETEK's industrial technology portfolio; FARO reported annual sales of roughly $340 million.

Beamer Acquires Userflow
