E-Commerce Acquisitions in Oregon

Giftcraft Ltd., a portfolio company of Indianapolis-based private equity firm CID Capital, has acquired RipSkirt Hawaii, a direct-to-consumer beachwear apparel brand. Terms were not disclosed; the deal is intended to accelerate Giftcraft’s digital and direct-to-consumer capabilities by leveraging Giftcraft’s sourcing, distribution and support with RipSkirt’s digital marketing strength.

Outside (formerly Pocket Outdoor Media) has acquired Cairn, a Bend, Oregon-based subscription box and commerce platform that curates outdoor gear and products. The acquisition brings Cairn’s subscription, discovery, and commerce capabilities into Outside’s membership ecosystem (Outside+), expanding Outside’s consumer commerce services and benefits for partners and members.

Boston-based private equity firm Cohere Capital completed a strategic growth investment in Portland-based CCS, a direct-to-consumer e-commerce retailer and streetwear/skateboarding brand. The capital will be used to strengthen CCS's technology-enabled product and service offerings and accelerate the company’s e-commerce growth and brand momentum.

Spiral Binding LLC announced an investment in MyBinding, a Hillsboro, Oregon-based binding and laminating dealer, to enhance Spiral's e-commerce reach and expand its product portfolio. Spiral, a portfolio company of Hilltop Private Capital and KCB Private Equity, will integrate MyBinding's online capabilities and regional sales presence to broaden its distribution and customer reach.
