Banyan Software has acquired Mosaic Learning, a provider of learning management and workforce training solutions for unions, training funds and corporate organizations. The acquisition expands Banyan's presence in EdTech and will help scale Mosaic's Combobulate SaaS platform with Banyan's resources and sales and marketing capabilities.

BARBRI, the global leader in legal education, has acquired SkillBurst Interactive, a digital learning company serving law firms. The deal expands BARBRI's professional education portfolio by adding SkillBurst's multilingual, customizable e‑learning library and interactive training capabilities.

Trivest Discovery Fund, part of Trivest Partners, has partnered with Dominique Dawes Gymnastics & Ninja Academy (DDGNA) to support the recreational gymnastics and ninja training chain’s growth. With Trivest’s capital and resources, DDGNA plans organic expansion and to pursue strategic add-on acquisitions across the United States.

Prometric has completed the acquisition of EdPower, a cloud-based K-12 education solutions provider. The deal combines Prometric's AI item generation and assessment capabilities with EdPower's K-12 assessment, analytics and professional-development tools to expand Prometric's footprint in the K-12 market.

ACI Learning, a Boathouse Capital portfolio company, has acquired Infosec Learning, a provider of cloud-based virtual labs and cybersecurity training. The transaction — ACI's fourth add-on under Boathouse Capital — expands ACI's hands-on lab catalog and consolidates cybersecurity, audit and IT skills training capabilities.

The St. James, a premier sports, wellness, and active entertainment operator based in Springfield, Virginia, has acquired MC Elite Lacrosse, a leading girls' lacrosse club in Montgomery County, Maryland. The acquisition gives MC Elite access to The St. James' training infrastructure and programs to enhance player development across the DC region.

Raptor Technologies, a school safety software platform backed by Thoma Bravo and JMI Equity, has acquired SchoolPass, a provider of cloud-based attendance automation, dismissal management, visitor management and emergency management software for K-12 schools. Financial terms were not disclosed; SchoolPass founder Mark Ruiters joins Raptor as chief strategy officer and Vicksburg Capital Partners served as SchoolPass's exclusive financial advisor.

Funds managed by The Vistria Group have acquired a significant interest in Really Great Reading, a Maryland-based provider of foundational literacy curriculum, through a strategic investment/partnership with existing investor VSS Capital Partners. VSS completed a partial sale of its stake but will continue to own a minority interest and serve on RGR's board as the company looks to expand its digital suite and broaden its presence across additional states and school districts.

YouScience, a college and career readiness platform based in American Fork, Utah, has acquired the National Center for College and Career Transitions (NC3T). The deal brings NC3T’s Seamless WBL work-based learning platform, professional development, and consulting services into YouScience to expand its career-connected learning, certification, and educator support offerings for K–12 districts and schools.

Endeavor Schools has acquired The Baltimore Montessori, a two-campus early childhood education provider in downtown Baltimore. The acquisition expands Endeavor's network to 75 schools nationwide and adds two campuses (Locust Point and Canton) to its Maryland footprint.

VSS Capital Partners’ portfolio company Really Great Reading has acquired InferCabulary, a web-based vocabulary program for K-12 students. The add-on expands Really Great Reading’s digital vocabulary and literacy offerings; financial terms were not disclosed.

PresenceLearning acquired Global Teletherapy to expand its teletherapy services for K-12 virtual schools while simultaneously securing a majority growth equity investment from Spectrum Equity and TPG's The Rise Fund. Bain Capital Double Impact and Catalyst Investors will retain minority stakes as PresenceLearning prepares to scale its software and teletherapy platform nationwide.

Franchise Group, Inc. completed an all-cash acquisition of Sylvan Learning for approximately $81 million, financed with available cash. Sylvan, a Hunt Valley, Maryland–headquartered tutoring franchisor with more than 700 locations, will expand Franchise Group's portfolio of consumer-facing franchise concepts and is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings.

KKR has agreed to acquire Teaching Strategies, the leading provider of early childhood curriculum, assessment and family engagement tools, from growth investor Summit Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed; KKR will make the investment through its Core Investments strategy to expand its education-technology portfolio and support Teaching Strategies' platform and growth.

Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG) has acquired GP Strategies for $394 million, creating a leading global workforce transformation and learning business. The deal expands LTG's international footprint, client base and capabilities in leadership development, technical training and sector expertise across pharma, aerospace and automotive.

VSS Capital Partners made a platform investment in Really Great Reading (RGR), a provider of foundational K-3 literacy curriculum, joining RGR's board to support growth. The investment will help RGR expand its digital learning solutions, accelerate market expansion, and scale its instructional, assessment, and professional development offerings.

BV Investment Partners, a Boston-based middle-market private equity firm, has made a significant growth investment in StraighterLine, an education technology company based in Baltimore. The investment will support StraighterLine's product development (including its Academy platform) and expansion into higher-education and employer markets.
