Healthcare Services Acquisitions in New Mexico

Center for Social Dynamics (CSD), a national autism and behavioral health services provider sponsored by GS Alternatives, has acquired Behavior Change Institute (BCI), a New Mexico–based autism services provider. The add-on expands CSD’s Southwest footprint, strengthens clinical research and technology-enabled care, and aims to broaden access to evidence-based autism services across underserved communities.

Eden Health has acquired Contigo Compounding, a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy, to integrate in-house sterile and non-sterile compounding capabilities into its personalized care platform. The acquisition gives Eden direct control of medication preparation and supply chain for faster adjustments, improved adherence, and next-day shipping for members.

Integrative Life Network (ILN), a family of trauma-focused treatment programs based in Nashville, has acquired New Mexico-based Shadow Mountain Recovery Programs. The acquisition expands ILN’s geographic footprint into the Southwest and adds multiple Shadow Mountain sites offering detox, residential (gender-specific), intensive outpatient and outpatient services that are in-network with major insurers.

24 Hour Home Care, a company under TEAM Public Choices, acquired Inteli-Care LLC, a licensed non-medical personal care provider based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The seller-owners Onesimo "Mo" Vigil and Rachel Vigil will remain as partners and continue in their management roles following the November 16, 2022 closing.

Dallas-based Access Dental Management LLC, backed by Surge Private Equity LLC, has acquired Bridget R. Burris, D.D.S., P.C., a multi-million dollar dental practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The deal closed with debt financing from Corbel Capital Partners and marks Access Dental's entry into New Mexico as its fifth add-on of 2021.

Pharos Capital-backed Charter Healthcare Group acquired Silver Linings Hospice Care, a Cedar Crest (Albuquerque metro) hospice provider, marking Charter’s first expansion into New Mexico and increasing its footprint to eight states. Financial terms were not disclosed; the acquisition is an add-on to Charter’s post-acute care platform to expand hospice and palliative capabilities in the region.

The IMA Group has acquired Albuquerque Neuroscience, Inc., a clinical research site specializing in central nervous system (CNS) and general medical condition trials. The acquisition expands IMA Clinical Research's national footprint and deepens its capabilities in psychiatry, Alzheimer's disease and other neuropathic therapeutic areas; financial terms were not disclosed.

Addus HomeCare Corporation signed a definitive agreement to acquire Armada Skilled Home Health of New Mexico, Armada Hospice of New Mexico and Armada Hospice of Santa Fe for approximately $29.0 million in cash. The acquisition expands Addus' home health and hospice footprint in New Mexico (Armada is based in Albuquerque and has annualized revenues of about $23.0 million) and is expected to be immediately accretive to Addus' results.

Health Catalyst, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Twistle, Inc., an Albuquerque-based patient engagement SaaS company. The acquisition will combine Twistle's automated patient communication and clinical workflow capabilities with Health Catalyst's cloud-based data and analytics platform to expand capabilities and deliver a comprehensive population health solution.

Fort Worth-based Jet Health, Inc., a regional home health and hospice operator, has acquired Albuquerque-based Hospice de la Luz. The deal — Jet Health's third hospice-related acquisition and funded by SV Health Investors and Health Enterprise Partners — expands Jet Health's hospice capabilities and continuity of care in the Albuquerque market; terms were not disclosed.

RS21 has acquired Versatile MED Analytics (VMA) and launched a new Health Lab division that will combine RS21's data science and AI capabilities with VMA's healthcare analytics expertise. VMA co-founders Angelica Bruhnke and Stefany Goradia will lead the Health Lab, and RS21 expects revenue and headcount growth as it expands healthcare analytics services for insurers, providers and government clients.

Proud Moments ABA has acquired Bridges: Educational Services for Children with Autism, a leading Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The acquisition, which closed Feb. 5, 2021, expands Proud Moments' footprint in the Southwest and aims to increase access to autism services in central New Mexico; terms were not disclosed.
